Kent Pride Fest was an amazing first-time event that brought together the community in celebration, love, and solidarity. As our first official Pride, we were thrilled by the outcome and the overwhelming support, from hosting over three high-energy drag shows to organizing a vibrant vendor market that showcased local queer makers and businesses. We sold out our Pride Bar Crawl and raised over $1,000 to support future events and our LGBTQ+ Grant. With such a successful turnout, along with Main Street Kent, we’re excited to bring back that same energy and joy during the school year during Rainbow Weekend when students are in town, creating an even bigger and more inclusive space for all to celebrate!
